SEO Tricks for Local Search Google Ranking!
DON'T PANIC, if you are clueless
about SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and there is no need to go breaking into a cold sweat.
As long as you follow
some very simple guidelines, over 90% of the SEO work is stone simple, and you don't need to pay $100's of dollars
for some web person to to do it for you.
SEO is basically just a way of
getting your site RANKED (showing on the first page of Google for your target keyword - e.g. - cheap real estate
Florida), yet people spend hours and $$$$'s massively over analyzing this stuff. Sure if you are going for a high
competition keyword (e.g - Mortgages) then yes, you will need to spend time looking at ALL the little data tweaks
etc you will need to ensure your site ranks. The beauty of the Knoxville Internet Marketing 101 SEO system
is that we don't need to worry about 98% of all that tekkie, boring stuff.
All we do need to do is get
Google, Yahoo And MSN to find our website, and once they have found it then they will start to INDEX it (which
means your site will appear somewhere in the results but not necessarily in the first 10). To get these guys to
find your site you need to tell them where it is. The easiest way to do this is to DIGG it. DIGG is a great free
service that Google likes a lot and it also can rank well on it's own for your keyword. Just go to
www.DIGG.com and register for an account. Then "Digg" your website URL with some great comments
about why you like the site, content, etc. That's all there is to it. Google will swing by "Digg"
and pick up your link, and Bingo, now they know you exist on the web!
(NOTE: If you already have your
site in Google then you may not need to do this, but as it's free why not!)
Next Step..
Getting more Links… You
just got a "Link" set up to your site from the "Digg" website, which Google LOVES...
Again you can waste $$$$ and
hours linking, Simply put using this method of getting listed ANY link is a good link!
I personally like Blog
Commenting to get links as it's free and can easily be outsourced and is liked by Google and LOVED by Yahoo. I have
numerous sites that rank in the top 10 of Google and NUMBER 1 in Yahoo for my target keyword using just a few blog
comments.
Blog commenting is just finding
blogs that are in the same NICHE as you and placing a comment on THEIR blog and have a link back to YOUR
site.
The beauty with this method is
that you will NEVER run out of places to post a comment! SO think of it as UNLIIMITED LINKS for
FREE!!!!
I recommend doing as many blog
comments as you can, they will take you around five minutes each, if you do this every day for 30 days, I GUARANTEE
you will rank in the top 10 of Google AND usually no.1 or no.2 in Yahoo!
Of course there are tons of ways
to get links back to your website, and that includes putting up pages (and Links back) at Squidoo.com,
HubPages.com, Weebly.com, WetPaint.com, and a ton of "bookmark" sites, like Tumblr, and the remarkably useful
"Twitter." Get all your friends to "Tweet" about your new website, and watch your rankings go up! Also
VERY powerful is YouTube Video. You can post vids of all kinds, with links back to your website. Google
loves it!
VERY VERY IMPORTANT!!! -
Let's not complicate things here, Our aim is to get into the search engines and stay there. Blog commenting is
perfect for this and you can really easily outsource this so you are consistently building links and adding weight
to your ranking. It is VITAL that you DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES try and use software to automate this process.
It might save you a bit of time, but it DOES NOT work as well as real, manual comments, and it might get your site
BANNED on Google, which is about like shooting yourself in the head! Don't do it!
